Kiko was rescued from a rural shelter where she had little chance of making it out. She was completely shut down, tail tucked tight, trying to fold herself into the back of her kennel run like she could disappear. It is hard to believe that quiet, frightened girl is the same dog you see today. With patience and love, Kiko began to bloom.

Now she wakes up ready to be part of everything. Morning coffee in the kitchen, yard adventures, couch time, folding laundry supervision, Kiko would like to RSVP yes to it all. Her personality is playful, curious, and wonderfully expressive. When she is happy, her whole body celebrates.

She loves toys, exploring the yard, and breaking into joyful zoomies when excitement hits. After she gets her wiggles out, she is more than happy to curl up close for snuggles. She bonds deeply with her people and thrives on affection.

Kiko’s transformation has been beautiful to watch. She is ready for a forever home that will continue to nurture her confidence and cherish the bright, joyful girl she has become.
