Buckwheat is a joyful, resilient little boy with the biggest heart and the brightest smile. He has a limb difference, but that has never slowed him down or dimmed his spirit. Every day, Buckwheat proves that being different doesn’t mean being limited , it simply means being uniquely amazing.

Buckwheat may move through the world a little differently, but his quality of life is still incredible, and his happiness shines through in everything he does. He doesn’t need pity, he needs love, understanding, and a family who will celebrate him exactly as he is and support him as he continues to thrive.

Buckwheat is a sweet and happy boy!! He prefers a leisurely start in the morning. If humans he out of bed he will get up to go potty, but will immediately go back to sleep for a few hours. After breakfast, he loves to lay outside and enjoy the sun and charge his battery! During the day, he is an excellent work from home coworker and loves to snooze on humans laps while they work. He loves food puzzles, playing hide and seek, going for walks, and playing fetch with his squeaky toys, but his favorite activity is playing tug of war! He does great traveling in the car and loves going for rides to the dog park. He’s never met a dog that he didn’t love!
